My interest in watches began at a young age. I wanted to understand how things worked and always had an eye for detail.
That fascination later led me to Seiko timepieces. Their reliability and technology provided the ideal foundation for me. From that passion , Sjika Jewellery was born, where I create Seiko mods using original Seiko movements, hand-built and meticulously finished.
I don't work in mass production and don't compromise on quality. Each watch is carefully assembled and inspected, with the goal of a timeless and reliable end result.

Seiko watch
A Seiko automatic movement is a mechanical timepiece powered by the wearer's own movement. The movement's rotor stores energy whenever the watch is worn on the wrist, eliminating the need for a battery.
Seiko is known worldwide for its reliable and accurate automatic movements. They are developed and manufactured in-house and are renowned for their durability, ease of maintenance, and long service life. Thanks to these qualities, Seiko automatic movements form a solid foundation for everyday use and custom-made watches.
Sapphire
Sapphire glass, also called sapphire crystal , is a high-quality watch crystal known for its exceptional scratch resistance. It is made of synthetic sapphire and, after diamond, is one of the hardest transparent materials.
Thanks to this hardness, the crystal remains clear for a long time, even with daily use. Sapphire crystal is also highly resistant to wear and tear and gives the watch a luxurious appearance. For these reasons, sapphire crystal is often used in high-end watches where durability and quality are paramount.

The watch case and strap are crafted from high-quality stainless steel. This material is known for its strength, durability, and excellent resistance to corrosion and wear, making it ideal for everyday use.

The first interest
My fascination with watches and technology is becoming more serious. I'm starting to delve into mechanical movements and learning by tinkering and experimenting.

Learning by doing
I discovered Seiko timepieces and became convinced of their reliability and quality. This formed the foundation for my further development.

The first Seiko mods
The first true Seiko mods are built. The focus is on quality, finish, and creating a unique style.

From hobby to passion
More and more people are showing interest. Watches are being built for friends and acquaintances, and the bar for quality is constantly being raised.

Refining the craftsmanship
Investments are made in better components, tools, and expertise. Each watch is assembled with greater precision and rigorously tested.

Establishment of Sjika Jewellery
Sjika Jewellery is officially established. The focus remains on handcrafted Seiko mods, without mass production and without compromise.

Where we stand now
Today, at Sjika Jewellery, I build high-quality Seiko watches using original Seiko movements. Each watch is carefully assembled, tested, and made to last for years.
